A little about Grandma Hana
Grandmother Hana was born in Yemen in 1921 in the Madan district. In about 1933 she married grandfather Musa who was from Kapela district. Grandfather Musa had 2 children, Shlomo and Abram who were his sons from his marriage to his first wife who died.
Grandma Hana adopted them and treated them as if they were her sons and so they also treated her as their mother in everything.
In 1949, my late grandparents immigrated to Israel as part of the "Magic Carpet" operation.
They were in the immigrant camps in the Pardes-Hana area or Rosh Ha-Ein (check!!) Grandparents immigrated to Israel without children when after the marriage grandmother became pregnant and had a son. At the age of two she went to visit her family (where???) riding a donkey for a few days. There the child had a fever and after a few days he died and she returned alone. Grandpa was shocked that she went with a child and came back without really being very sad.
Later, grandparents settled in Ashkelon and lived in a detached house on the edge of the city.
In 1951, the grandmother had 2 twin daughters, Yehudit and Simcha.
After about half a year after giving birth, Yehudit fell ill and was taken to the hospital to receive treatment. There at the hospital, Grandpa and David Shlomo were asked by the medical staff to leave her there and return to their home and arrive only the next day, after a few days at the hospital they told Grandpa and David Shlomo that Yehudit had passed away and was buried, when they asked to see her, they were not allowed to and refused in spite of their anger and insistence, because That they were so naive and believed in the authorities they just gave up and tried to come to terms with the situation. Years later, when the case of the kidnapping of the Yemeni children was discovered, they realized that there was indeed a high chance that a Jewish woman was still alive and that she had been kidnapped. They tried to locate her, among other things, by finding documents and giving testimony to the committee that investigated the case.
After the birth of the twins Judith and Simcha, the grandmother had more children David, Yitzhak, Tamar and Ora.
Grandma was a woman of kindness, a woman who loved all mankind unconditionally, she also loved and cared for her grandchildren very much. For example, if a grandchild or a child had any problem, she would really feel it as if it were her problem and take her shoulders and pray and worry until the problem was solved.
Grandma was a very smart and noble woman.
Grandma went to work in a packing house only after Orit, the youngest daughter, was born. Until then, Grandpa supported you The family mainly works casual jobs. He worked in Pardes, the livelihood was extremely low and only when mother went to work did they purchase a gas stove, refrigerator and other accessories.

One of the amazing things that characterized grandma was the connection with her grandchildren and the "flow" with them, once when I visited grandma she just sat with me and watched the movie "through the never" by the band Metallica (when she was already around 96 years old) and when there were dramatic parts she really She reacted and got into the situation and asked and experienced the movie, it was amazing for me.
